[Monitor] Bank of Uganda statutory manager is sitting a few meters away from his bosses at the Central Bank. Along Kampala road and nearby places, there are several other banks that are being "watched" by the Central Bank. The shareholders of Crane Bank may yet see their entire equity wiped out. The principal shareholder Sudhir Ruparelia and his affiliates are likely to battle in the courts for a long time to save their shirts if the Central Bank moves in to lay claim on his vast business empire.
