The Diah Bridge, which is 84feet×31feet, was constructed by a Liberian company. It is expected to benefit over 15,000 inhabitants in the district and parts adjacent.

[SAPS] The SAPS in Kimberley are investigating a case of culpable homicide after an accident occurred on the R31/ Barkly West Road on Saturday, 25 November 2017 at about 13:30. It is alleged that the driver of the Mazda 3 lost control of the vehicle causing it to role several times. Both the driver and his male passenger was flung out of the vehicle. The 51-year-old male driver died on the scene and the male passenger was taken to hospital for medical treatment. The investigation continues.
