Gender Minister Victoria Kalima has been laid to rest at the Leopards Hill Memorial Park. Acting President Inonge Wina led hundreds of mourners that included Fourth Republican President Rupiah Banda and his wife Thandiwe. Church service was held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross with the procession heading to Memorial Park. President Edgar Lungu declared three days of national mourning in honour of Kalima.
