A police man who took a video and arrested Andrew Zombe Lupasha BAB 8154 and Rebbecca 16 was unprofessional in his conduct and he must also be arrested for unprofessionally violating the human rights of the two alleged actors. Honestly speaking, Andrew the accused person was wrong and he committed a crime which I will term in this case as defilement and he has to be charged for it. But looking at the video, both Andre BAB 8154 and Rebbecca were morally abused and subjected to ridicule and baronial embarrassment which can make the two actors take their lives. If it is true that the man who took that video was a police officer, then I strongly suggest that he be arrested and charged for human right violation. In the video, I have seen Andrew and Rebbecca’s nakedness captured and the video leaked to social media by the alleged police man who caught them in act. In as much as Human Right Protection is concerned, Andrew and Rebecca’s rights were terribly violated by capturing them naked and also posting the naked video to social media. Such conduct by a police officer was careless and can cause the victim and the perpetrator to commit suicide. The police officer was just supposed to capture their faces for evidence sake and not their naked private parts. The two actors were supposed to be locked and later taken to court for trial. Capturing and posting of a person’s private parts is morally wrong and it’s mentally and physically injurious to the actors. When someone has done something wrong or has committed a crime, it doesn’t mean that their rights should be violated by people charged with responsibility and authority to protect human rights. In this case, there is no different between the [alleged] crime that Andrew committed to Rebbecca and the crime that the police officer committed to Andrew and Rebecca by capturing their private parts and posting the video to social media. The Law Should Be Equally Applied Here!! Castrol Kafweta The post Letter: The Case Of Andrew BAB 8154 And An Alleged 15-Year-Old Girl appeared first on Zambia Reports.

Minister of Higher Education Professor Nkandu Luo has described as absurd the behaviour of Copperbelt University who locked up vice chancellor prof. Naison Ngoma in his office. Prof. Luo said lecturers at the institution of higher learning are expected to be intellectuals and such behaviour is disappointing. She said during her time as a lecturer, she wrote a number of proposals that brought so much benefits to the country’s health sector such as the blood bank at Ndola teaching hospital and University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka. Prof. Luo schooled the lecturers to use research and help improve the state of the university as opposed to blaming each other on the deficiencies. “Lecturers are supposed to be intellectuals not what I am seeing at the Copperbelt University where you see lecturers chanting slogans like students. I think that does not befit their status as intellectuals,” Prof. Luo said. She said the challenges at the Copperbelt University require collective efforts to overcome. “That’s why they are at the University. This must be think and resolve problems, not every time calling each names. I think as government we will not allow such behaviour to continue,” Prof. Luo added. A few weeks ago, when one walks through Cairo road and you approach the corner of Protea hotel and Katondo street . What would greet your eyes is a dirty street full of plastics, papers and all sorts of things that made the street dirty . But today if you pass through the same area, you would actually pause and think twice if you are in Lusaka or in another city or town outside zambia . The truth of the matter is that the presidential directive to the armed forces to help clean Lusaka and keep it clean has worked out really good, no body ever thought Lusaka would be this clean again. Let us give credit where it’s due , Big ups to President Lungu for the intervention and big ups to the Men and women in union and all those who volunteered to ensure Lusaka is clean again … The post Citizen’s View: Lusaka Is Cleaner & Better After Cholera Attack appeared first on Zambia Reports.
