[SAPS] In the early hours of this morning Sergeant Thabisile Penelope Zondi (41) who was stationed at Plessislaer Police Station, was assaulted to death by her boyfriend at her residence. It is alleged that this morning, 17 December 2016 the member was at her residence, at Scottville, Pietermaritzburg when the couple had an alleged dispute. The suspect severely assaulted the female officer with a pick handle multiple times all over her body.
