Former Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba’s movements have continued to cause discomfort to the Patriotic Front with his latest visit to the Copperbelt attracting about five Ministers. In unplanned visits, five ministers were loitering around the Copperbelt without any official assignment among them Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo and his counterpart at National Planning and Development Alexander Chiteme. Other Ministers included Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe and Mines Minister Richard Musukwa. While Sikazwe visited Nakadoli Market, the others were trying to understand Kalaba’s whereabouts and programs. Musukwa went on to meet Jerabos with Kampyongo following around with no serious business but obviously in the name of youth empowerment. On Sunday afternoon, Chiteme Sunday called for a meeting with residents in Buchi to understand their challenges. The Ministers continue to patronise the Copperbelt, Kitwe in particular while Kalaba has taken his message to churches. A PF security member also working with Kalaba revealed that instructions had been given to understand Kalaba’s business on the Copperbelt.
