Zambia under-20 midfielder Emmanuel Banda has joined Belgian side KV O Oostende. Banda, who scored two goals at the FIFA Under-20 World to inspire Zambia to a first quarterfinal finish, will be one of the seven youth talents making the trip. He was recently called to feature in the senior national team for the Cosafa but with the latest development may have to skip this weekend’s international assignment. Banda is expected to feature in the Europa Cup where KV O Oostende will play next season. Before making the move to Belgium, Banda played for Esmoriz in the Portuguese league. Ghanaian president Nana Akufo Addo has arrived in the country for a State visit. The leader of the former Gold Coast was received by President Lungu, First Lady Esther and other dignitaries. During his three day visit, Ado will grace this weekend’s International Trade Fair in Ndola. Last week President hosted Rwandan President Paul Kagame joining the list of others that have been to Zambia. Other notable visitors are Faure Gnassingbé of Togo, Rajaonarimampianina of Madagascar, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe.
