[Monitor] Kampala -Barclays Plc no longer has a controlling stake in Barclays Africa Group Ltd (BAG) after agreeing to sell 33.7 per cent stake in the African unit. On Thursday, BAGL trading as Absa on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange -, revealed that it had agreed to sell 26.7 per cent to a group of investors and another 7 per cent would be sold to the Public Investment Corporation in South Africa after regulatory approval.
