President Edgar Lungu has wished Zambia’s under-20 well as they take on Germany at the FIFA World Cup. The Head of State is confident the lads will rise to the occasion and make the country proud. President Lungu says he will be watching the match kicking at 13:00 hours Zambian time. BELOW IS A STATEMENT BY FAZ PRESIDENT LUNGU TIPS ZAMBIA TO BEAT GERMANY Republican President Edgar Lungu has sent a message of goodwill to the Zambia Under-20 National team ahead of their round of 16 encounter against Germany at the on-going FIFA World Cup in South Korea. President Lungu says the country is very proud of what the junior Chipolopolo boys have so far achieved at the on-going tournament. “The World Cup is a very big stage but you have proved to everyone that you can compete at the highest level of the game. Your performances at the tournament are clear testament of your hard work and discipline.†He said the whole Zambia will today be rallying behind the junior Chipolopolo boys as they take on one- time U-20 world champions Germany. “I want to let you know that the whole Zambia will be glued to the television as you take on your next opponents.
