[Addis Fortune] Ethiopia and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) have signed a 20 million dollar loan agreement to upgrade the 76.8km Hamusit-Este gravel road in South Gondar zone, Amhara region, to asphalt. The road is a key agricultural transportation path. it is intended to help residents get better access to markets and reduce transportation costs and time. Similar agreements were also signed with Mali and Benin.
