[SAPS] The KwaZulu Natal Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit secured a total of 55 sentences with eight life imprisonment and 358 years imprisonment in the past month. A total of 410 arrests for various cases of rape, sexual assault, child pornography, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, kidnapping, statutory rape and housebreaking were made.
