Economic and Equity Party president Chilufya Tayali has lashed at the Anti Corruption Commission alleging they were a virtualy ‘useless’ body that operates in a vacuum. Tayali says officials at ACC are unserious with their jobs. He claims their pursuit of fired Chishimba Kambwili was an exercise in futility. Tayali says Kambwili is armed with a lot of information about the corruption pyramid in the ruling party and will not go down alone. BELOW IS TAYALI’S CONTRIBUTION Who ever thought Kambwili would be in such a predicament. His position as minister has been taken over by the young Kampamba Mulenga, while the inept ACC tries to be relevant after Kambwili is fired. When EEP comes into power ACC will be under serious review. We will review everything including the tables and chairs the officers sit on, because they seem to be too comfortable such that they make the officers just sit in the offices instead of going round bursting corrupt people. Corruption is rampant in the Country and yet, ACC make arrest once in a blue moon. They have even failed to get back to us on the FRA case in spite of the overwhelming evidence we gave them. Chola Chifambulula is still enjoying at FRA while Zayelo has been promoted to over see the welfare of the judiciary through policy formulation. I am not even excited tohear that, they are probing Kambwili, the man has just fallen out of favor of ECL otherwise he would still be roaring at Govt complex. I am also very sure that, they will not go further than cheap talk to mess Kambwili’s name but they can’t mess with his liberties by talking him to court. As it is, Kambwili most probably knows a lot about many PF leaders and if they rattle him bigly (Trump English), he may drop a nuclear bomb of corruption exposition which may catch everyone. In as much as I would like to have Kambwili explain his riches, like many other PF leaders including those in State House, I am sure he was not fired because of corruption otherwise many would have been fired. We doubt PF will fight corruption, but Zambians would just have to give us the mandate in 2021, we will uproot corruption from the ground.
