Chingola-based football administrator Blackwell Siwale has reported Football Association of Zambia president Andrew Kamanga and his executive to the Anti Corruption Commission in Kitwe over the irregular K1.4 million allowances paid to themselves recently. Siwale, a former FAZ Committee Member before he was expelled, said the behaviour exhibited by Kamanga and his executive was inhuman especially that workers at Football House have gone months without their pay. He said as an administrator he has been compelled to report the matter to the Anti Corruption Commission to investigate the allocation of such huge sums of money in the pockets of a few individuals. Siwale said it was surprising that the executive paid itself such hefty allowances when Football House is owing different companies that offered services during the hosting of the U20 AFCON. “I have come here to report the activities happening at Football house, were Andrew Kamanga and his executive paid themselves hefty allowances, I want ACC to establish whether such allowances were justifiable or not and from there if a case is established them those involved be prosecuted” Siwale said. He added that different individuals that offered services during the hosting of the tournament have not been paid further wondering why FAZ went ahead to pay themselves huge allowances. “It is inhuman, if you check this is April and staff at football house have not been paid, how do you rush into paying yourselves even when players who brought that money have not been paid” Siwale said. Siwale becomes the second football administrator to report the Kamanga led FAZ to the Anti Corruption Commission after another administrator Simataa Simataa did the same in Lusaka. Kamanga has come under fire after financial documents indicating how monies were shared leaked to the media this week.
