[The Herald] Mashudu Netsianda -National hero Cde Naison Khutshwekhaya Ndlovu received a befitting send-off yesterday when hundreds of people thronged his homestead at Gwatemba Village in Filabusi, Insiza District to bid him farewell. Cde Ndlovu succumbed to prostate cancer on Monday.He was 86.

[The Herald] Players in the dairy industry have lauded Government for coming up with the Rural Energy Master Plan, whose thrust is to ensure fast-track electrification of rural areas. They said this was likely to result in the production of high quality milk, as well as profit maximisation for the sector. Speaking during the World Milk Day commemorations in Harare, Dairibord marketing executive officer Ms Tracey Mufewui, said rural electrification would boost their market share.

[The Herald] An undercover security guard nabbed three individuals who were shoplifting at Pick n' Pay Supermarket in Kamfinsa, Harare. Mercy Machadu (33), Tatenda Dube (26) and Charles Mhlanga (39) stole 10 packets of bacon worth $109.The trio appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Eric Kadye for trial yesterday and were remanded to today. It is alleged that they concealed the packets of bacon under the armpits, inside the trousers and between the legs.
